2014 Domain Extensions

ICANN has been developing a range of domain extensions that will be released throughout the year. The number of domain extensions will increase to over 100 options. Not only will the new range of domain extensions improve choice and competition, they will also enable consumers and business owners to choose domain names more closely related to their products or services they are offering.

As more of these domain extensions are released, it will be interesting to see how businesses and consumers will use them. Will the big brands adopt these new extensions or will they stay with their traditional .com?
