During the 2005 baseball season Red Sox fans had been treated to plenty of excitement. A new catchphrase, reminiscent of that fateful day we almost lost slugger Manny Ramirez.
On the heels of this affair, Burke Advertising decided to have a little fun and started mannybeingmanny.com. The fan page was completed with a blog and T-shirt store. Soon we had scores of fans logging on to comment on the blog and express their opinions of Manny.
Our little fan page caught the attention of Sports Illustrated, who used our staff in a published photo wearing their Manny Being Manny t-shirts.
